DRINKS: September – November 09

For September to November drinks (3rd Sunday of the month), we will be upstairs at Suede, at 284 Smith Street, Fitzroy.  Drinks will be held from 3-5pm. Please note, monthly drinks are for two hours only, until daylight saving starts.  If you haven’t been before, look for the party hat on the table. Sometimes a few of us go for an early dinner after drinks.

Monthly drinks return for 2009! (Mar – May trial)

For the next three months we will be trialling a new format of monthly drinks.  As a result of your feedback last year and your comments regarding Thursday evening drinks being hard to attend, we’re moving to a Sunday afternoon catch-up.

We’ve had a huge (gigantic, enormous) amount of trouble finding a suitable venue which has wheelchair access (and accessible toilets!), so for the moment, we’re going to trial Bimbo Deluxe in Fitzroy for Sunday drinks.

Details are:

When:   Third Sunday of the month (Sunday, 15th March are the next drinks)
Time:    3 – 6pm
Where: Bimbo Deluxe, 376 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy

There is a courtyard upstairs for smokers and there is a wheelchair accessible toilet (need to ask staff for the key, as it’s kept for disabled and staff use only).

As usual, no need to RSVP – just turn up!
